Really nice Mobile

I bought a Star NOTE 1 for my wife and she finds it first class so on the back of that I decided to buy this model as I prefer a smaller phone than the NOTE. It is just simply GREAT. It does everything very well and is oh! so simple to master and setup. The 1.2 quad processor puts it into a position to actually be as good as the original. Yes this is a clone but a really good one. 30% of the cost of the original but you lose perhaps 5% in overall quality. It was delivered in 10 days and was wrapped in enough bubble wrap to ensure its safety. It is well more than value for money. I am a computer engineer so am trained to rabbit out any weaknesses in systems. Except for a poor hand book, I can't find any for the price.

The first thing you notice about this device is how the manufacturers were able to keep costs down by cutting a few corners, but what can you excpect from a device that costs a little over £100. For example, the screen is quite low res at 480 x 854 and is a flexible plastic, not glass, however this means it would also not break easily. Secondly the camera performance is atrocious, and the phone does not have any more advanced features such as NFC or wireless charging. Also there is no useable bootloader mode and there is no recovery installed in the recovery partition at all.All that said, the phone is a genuine quad core using the MTK6589 SoC so the speed is definitely there. This is a fast phone. This phone is also rooted has a rooted kernel out of the box. All you need to do is install a root app from the market such as SuperSU for better control of which apps get root. It is also unlocked.Overall I am extremely impressed with this phone for the money. It is extremely good spec for the money and you will not be disappointed, just remember that it does lack some of the bells and whistles of other slightly more expensive phones of a similar hardware spec.

I bought this from the UK via Dracotec.. Product arrived exactly 7 days later and is just amazing..I wanted it to replace an old Iphone 4 and a slightly newer Xperia J.. Put simply it blows both of them away.It comes with 2*2500mAh batteries, cheap case, headphones and a 2pin charger with UK converter.It was up and running in minutes, compatible with latest games etc from android shop and no problems with GPS..Having now had this for a few days I have noticed that the screen viewing angle is not great(you have to be looking straight at it); but this isn't a problem and depending on what you're viewing could even be an advantage for the security conscious.There was one suspicious looking app/service running with a chinese character description but I just stopped it and have had no issues.
