beats expectations

i'll start with the nagatives, the camera is nowhere near 5mp, the pictures are grainy and pixellated, and if you have the flash on there's a lot of white light in the picture. my old sony erricson w810i and w395 were both 2mp and took much better pictures.3.5mm headphone jack, it sounds like a small and stupid feature to get excited about, but my last 2 phones had a stupid connection where i had to attach a 1m wire 4 radio+headphone connection, then connect headphone wire to this. Now i can plug my headphones straight into my phone and it's like an ipod.I heaven't got any of my songs on my phone yet as it didn't come with a usb cable, but i';ve ordered one on ebay for £1.38. the sample songs are good quality, loud and clear. The music player looks professional, has the features of the walkman phones and is easy to use, with special music function buttons on the side of the phone for ease and quickness.The phone feels solid, with a metal back and a good weight - it's 'there' without being too heavy or bulky, it fits in my adverage-sized hand nice and the buttons are easy to use and they're flat so it feels nice.All the pictures show the touch-screen like home screen, it's quite good but if you want the simple interface you can switch to 'normal' mode and just have your own wallpaper,time,date,operator,battery life,signal shown on your screen so it's much simpler.Also, text messages are by default sorted into conversations, you can also switch this off and have the normal inbox/sent messages.it has a torch, very cool and comes in handy. lots of little apps, all you could ever need.The internet is quite good, for a basic ovi browser, you can also download about 10 free themes which was nice.in summary, the only downside is the camera, as long as photos aren't your main priority i'd definately give this phone a go as the rest of it really does make up for the camera. 9/10

I was looking for just a normal phone. This phone is great, Long battery life, easy to use, takes great pictures for a camera phone, the radio feature works without the need for headphones, the speaker volume is great no need for an external plugin speaker system. Has many of the normal features you would expect on a phone, Alarm, calculator, E-mail, Internet, Torch, It has about 7 pre-loaded games. I am considering buying a second phone while they still make this sort of thing as everything seems to be going the way of android or I-phone.
