Worst Customer Service Ever

I've bought this phone in June 2012. Sometimes it didn't work out very well, e.g. lost network connection (I'm on Three UK), the power auto shut down without any reason.The troubles happened sometimes only, I did email UK Sonim service about Oct 2012, but no response at all. I tried to cope with, thinking that as long as it is waterproof, drop proof and long-life battery, it's accepted.It was O.K for the specs: waterproof, drop proof, and long-life batts (I didn't test it much so I say it's ok)But recently in Feb 2013, the rubber case was loose, no physical damage.The phone looked horrible so I decided to contact UK Sonim Customer Service. No response, even email/phone. Waiting on the customer phone for half an hour. Nothing. Phoned US centre. No hope.Now is April 2013, so I deciced to contact online retailer with hope to swap it off, or return.The worst thing is, not the phone quality, the customer service. Having a search around internet, you will recognize Sonim had a really bad reputation in these. It made me feel like I've been left alone after a payment was made.It is unacceptable for the service.

First of all, I can't believe Amazon's ignorance of a few emails I've sent in a past (about other products) and recently about my Sonim XP5300 delivery. I've ordered my Sonim on 27th Oct 2011 and they told me delivery will be between 1st and 21st Nov 2011?! I could understand if they said between 1st and 5th, but 1st to 21st ... it's like we are living in the middle of the jungle somewhere in the middle-of-nowhere.Anyway, I've contacted Sotel company in Germany(Mr Heiko) from whom I bought my Sonim. Mr Heiko also tried to contact Amazon directly without any success (?!) and he told me to ignore that Amazon's delivery date because he already posted my Sonim. I have received it today on 1/11/11 at 1PM - what a coincidence with all ones ;-).I was very keen to open box and I've found exactly what I wanted. I've downloaded PC Tools for Sonim to sync my Outlook data. Well, it doesn't pull ALL data, especially Notes that I wanted, but I am not that bothered, because I am using my (just updated with new motherboard) Hewlett-Packard HX4700 PDA for my MS Office stuff, internet, games, etc.Back to my Sonim: I was very pleased, left it to charge around 5 hours, just to top it up battery, I've set up all relevant information and ... that's it ;-). I've checked a few video clips on YouTube about how tough Sonim is, and is perfect for me when I do rumbling, sailing, snorkeling, cycling, etc. I don't need to worry any more about dropping it anywhere, including up to 2m in the sea ;-). I am very happy with my Sonim XP5300.P.S. Don't be put off by my first paragraph going on about Amazon's not replying on my queries. I am shopping with Amazon for many years and NEVER EVER had any problems. I am just pointing out (if they read this at all) that it would be nice from them to CONTACT their customers when they ask for it ;-)
