After my Galaxy Note crapped out I needed a new phone that had all the features I want and not have to pay £500 for an S4.The 1080p screen on this phone is amazing to look at and the processor is very quick.Running a 3D game such as beach buggy blitz in full HD does tax the system though but it's still fairly playable.4gb of memory might be a problem for some users but you can move most non system apps to the SD card in this version of Andoid (4.2.1)The camera is rated at 12mp but the quality is nothing to write home about, however it's not really a concern for me as I use a DSLR for my picture taking purposes and a phone just for quick snaps where quality doesn't matter.In terms of using this phone in the UK my EE (orange) SIM was instantly recognized in slot 1 of the dual SIM slot phone, howeverevery now and then it reports that I'm roaming when I'm clearly not. Automatically setting network again in settings usually clears this, but it's still pretty unnerving.I like to use my bluetooth headphones as constant use of wired ones wore out the jack socket on my old Note, and so for audio has been pretty unstable with frequent drop outs while in my trouser pocket, but in a breast pocket it seems to be fine. Might just be my headset needing a charge.I bought this from the seller Tiskalive and their service and communication was excellent, shipping took a total of 3 days from China and no customs charged was added. I know you can get similar or better phones for the money direct from China sites like aliexpress or chinapadmall but when it comes to it I would rather pay more for peace of mind given by shopping with Amazon than dodgy sellers on those sites.

I bought this to replace my previous phone, the Star S5. (It was bought from seller VERYGOOD4U, and to be fair I have no complaints about the seller's customer service, phone was delivered quickly and was well packaged. My only issue is with the hardware, which was not built by the seller.) If I was to compare the two, the S5 wins hands down. It was faster in everyday use, much more user friendly and the battery lasted longer, even though I used it far more frequently than this phone. In short, I simply don't like using the phone as much as the S5. One example I can give is the predictive text. I have downloaded and installed the English dictionary and it still does not work, I have to input every letter of every word, and I have been saving them to my personal dictionary instead so I won't have to do it in future, all I have to do is input every word in the English language, which is not at all annoying or time consuming. The S5 worked out of the box like a charm. Out of all the smartphones I have used over the last 8 years, the S5 was the best when taking price and performance into consideration. If you want a lovely screen and don't mind poor audio and laggy operation, get this. If you want a decent smartphone, buy something else.
