I own one of these and I like it

I saw the 2 star review and as someone whose had quite a bit of "unknown" computer Gear - usually chinese oem gear I felt I should write a review. Prestigio are not really an unknown company... They have been around quite a while and I've seen quite a few of their tablets floating around, I believe there are based in cyprus! ... not many phones though... I needed a spare and the choice was but a rebadged alcatel or a huawei...but all these were locked to the isp so i wanted a reasonable unlocked phone. I saw the prestigio and compared them with the equivalent makes... I can only say i feel i made a good decision. I keep a personal and a work sim and it works a dream. I can see what network the call is coming in from and decide what network to use to send sms messages which is the main reason I bought the phone...now.. it came with android 4.1.1, got an update as soon as it was switched on. I will admit i hate the boot logo but otherwise its very responsive. it has assisted gps, wifi. blutooth 3.0 , the display is reasonable and watching movies was good too even 720p. it has the official google playstore but it does attempt to install some bloatware on installation but these were easily remove.. At the price there has to be some compromises... first was only 4Gb, but it takes a 64Gb sdxc card? (it says it only supports 32Gb) it has usb2, it works with ota and the mhl adapters I use in my note 2. The 8megapixel camera is not bad and it has an led flash. With wifi on etc the battery does last the day but I don't think its on a par with the samsung/iphone... not many accessories available for it bar the usb adapters. Overall I personally think its a good phone for the money!

RECEIVED THIS PHONE AFTER MUCH LOOKING AROUND.HAVE BEEN ABSOLUTELY DELIGHTED WITH PHONE,MAY BE NOT AS GOOD AS IPHONE OR THE BETTER SAMSUNGS BUT I HAD A GALAXY ACE AND IT BEATS THIS HANDS DOWN.RECOMEND

I wanted a Dual Sim Phone, with a reasonably rugged build and average spec.The Gorilla Glass was a factor in the choice.Was a wee bit unsure of the name but went for it anyway. The phone is great, really responsive, bug free so far, no measurable lag, screen resolution imperceptible, benchmarked at about the same level and a Galaxy SII. The Dual sim feature is well designed and intuitive. Not much Bloat ware on it either which is good.Only down side is lack of accessories, cannot find any made to measure cases other than the rather impractical one that comes with it (The case actually turns the phone off and on itself).However its dimensions are almost identical to the HTC ONE M7 so with use of scissors should be possible to get a fit for a silicon case.But confused about the processor speed, appears to be 1Ghz Dual, until you do the OTA update to Jellybean 4.1.1 when it becomes a 4500(T) which reports 1.2GHz on the benchmarking software results. So the OTA update appears to clock up the processor!Overall I would highly recommend.Generally: Why do they not put Lanyard attachment points on phones any-more yet insist on making them slippier!!!!!
